Fund Purpose

Guided by an advisory committee of Latino civic and business leaders, the Latino Leadership Fund invests in programs and organizations that empower, amplify, and uplift future Latino leaders.  

Grant cycle overview

This opportunity supports programs and projects that are Latino-led or primarily Latino serving that are building local leadership, empowering Latinos, amplifying Latino voices in leadership and public life or uplifting the next generation of Latino leaders. 

funding priorities

  • Youth and/or Women

    • Programs that build confidence, agency, and opportunity for youth or women through mentorship, professional and personal development, and access to resources 

  • Education

    • Efforts that improve educational outcomes, remove systemic barriers, and support Latino students from early learning through post-secondary success 

  • Leadership & Professional Development

    • Initiatives that cultivate Latino leaders of all ages, including civic leadership training, board development, and career advancement

application details

A grant cycle with $150,000 in funding will be open May 30 – June 30, 2025. Funding requests may range and must not exceed $20,000. If awarded, the award amount may vary. 

Eligibility 

  • Must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code or have a fiscal sponsor that has 501(c)(3) status and provide written authorization confirming its willingness to act as the fiscal sponsor 

  • School districts and public higher education institutions are eligible to apply 

  • Located in Stanislaus County

  • Must be a program and project within the above-stated priority areas & in operation a minimum of one year from time of applying 

  • Only one application per organization. Fiscal sponsors are allowed to apply on behalf of more than one program/project
