Juan Ruiz Vigil

Juan Ruiz Vigil graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Environmental Resources from California State University, Stanislaus. He has experience in GIS, data analysis, and community-focused projects, and enjoys using mapping and geospatial tools to support sustainable initiatives and informed decision-making.

During college, Juan served as a Solid Waste Fellow with the City of Modesto through College Corps. In this role, he contributed to projects focused on waste management, recycling, and sustainability initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in environmental programs that benefit the community.

As a NextGen on Board Fellow, Juan is serving a two-year term on NPO Board of Directors beginning October 2025.
