The Gould Medical Group Fund supports the local community through meaningful charitable contributions, fostering positive change in areas such as housing and basic needs.

Housing Assistance and Related Services
Providing immediate and long-term housing support for individuals and families facing housing instability.
Includes but not limited to emergency rental assistance, rental down payments, first-month rent support, and utilities assistance.
Programs and projects that alleviate the financial burden of housing costs to prevent eviction and ensure families can maintain stable housing.
Food Security and Access to Basic Necessities
Ensuring that individuals and families have reliable access to nutritious food and essential supplies.
Includes but not limited to both emergency and ongoing food needs, including food pantries, meal distribution programs, and community gardens.
Access to hygiene products, clothing, and other critical resources to support dignity and well-being for those facing financial hardship.
Programming to Support Family Stability and Help Keep Families in their Homes
Including wraparound services that provide holistic support, such as mental health counseling, financial education, workforce development, and childcare, which can help families overcome challenges and remain in their homes.
application details
Up to $60,000 in grant funding will be awarded in the grant cycle. Funding requests may not exceed $20,000. If awarded, the award amount may vary.
The application period will be open August 1 – August 31, 2025. Applications must be submitted via the online grant portal.
Awards will be announced via email in September 2025. Projects must be completed within 12 months of being awarded.
Eligibility
Must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code or have a fiscal sponsor that has 501(c)(3) status and provide written authorization confirming its willingness to act as the fiscal sponsor
Be located in Stanislaus County or San Joaquin County
Support innovative programs, initiatives, services, or other ideas within the above-stated priority areas
