A Book of Dreams is an annual project of The Modesto Bee, and highlights local nonprofits during the holiday season. Selected agencies are featured in weekly Bee installments and readers generously support the agencies with individual donations collected by Stanislaus Community Foundation from November through December. Final grant amounts vary, based on individual giving. An additional benefit is the opportunity for each participating nonprofit to “tell their story” to Bee readers during the holiday season.

New this year, the Stanislaus County Focus on Prevention Fund will match up to $25,000 in contributions!

(Be sure to specify which nonprofit you’d like to support in the “comments” field on the donation form. If you wish not be recognized in the printed version of the newspaper, please specify in “comments” field.)
