A Book of Dreams is an annual project of The Modesto Bee, and highlights local nonprofits during the holiday season. Selected agencies are featured in weekly Bee installments and readers generously support the agencies with individual donations collected by Stanislaus Community Foundation from November through December. Final grant amounts vary, based on individual giving. An additional benefit is the opportunity for each participating nonprofit to “tell their story” to Bee readers during the holiday season.

Thank you to all of the generous individuals and corporations who participated in our 2018 campaign.  We’re pleased to announce a final tally of more than $81,000 – a new record!  Please remember to check back on our site in this fall to learn more about the organizations that will be featured in 2019
